    With the time passing so fast, this summer vacation is good opportunity for me , I can get some work experience in Siemens's semiconductor department, I ensure that it's a so good chance for me .
 While I am in my university--Fudan University, I am just a college student, the whole world for me is only studying everything which the teachers told me what I should learn and when we will have our final exam, that is all my study life. And I think that I was separate from the real life and study life. Two years ago, I once have this kind of work experience in IBM saleing department, but the feeling don't like this period that I am the intern in this company. Everything has changed a lot, don't like that time when I was intern in IBM, according to my memory, it occured to me when I had been in IBM, from morning to night, I had been busy with everything, just like I was sales,  when the customers came to our department, I first do is that I should do some job like a waiter, give the customers everyone a cup of tea and next I should ask the director to come here and slove the problem, finally, I should do just listen to what they talk about and note the majority of the topics and content that they have mentioned.  All the things are very very simple and dull ,but I ensure that at least I had got some work experience in IBM and I could adapt to this work environment and  I had got some experience how to make friends in a new environment and do good deal of my colleague.  It is very important  for me whenever in the University or in the Society.  I think it will help me for my further study and whatever company I will come in in the future, I should master the kind the ablitiy to deal with every friends and colleague, because it couldn't be avoided that you will touch with the social intercourse, maybe, you don't want to take part in the kind of social intercourse but you eager to get good relationship between you and your friends (colleague), you are supposed to do everything well.  If you asked me that the work experience in IBM whether help me a lot in this period work experience or not, the answer is affirmatory , it helped me whatever from the begin the accommodation or the work method I do everything and I assured that I have gotten the experience  which I couldn’t get from the University and it’s so good for my further studying or working.
 As mentioned, I was so easy to adapt to the designing and use electronic component like diode or transistor , etc.  Although I have learned some basic technical feature of these electronic component , it’s absolutely newly for me to use some of them to circuit combination and make some function like amplifier or filter ,etc.  The whole of them are so complex for beginner to design or get the meaning clearly.  I wanna know the all basic knowledge about electronic engineer, this summer vacation, the major job is translate some English Version Application Note to Chinese, because the guilder teacher give me the file which doesn’t so difficult,. And while I was in the company, I am so anxious to know the meaning which why I wanna a intern in the last summer vacation of my university life and don’t to travel some spaces that you eager to visit.  The real reason of it is that I wanna get a good job and high pay when you will soon graduate from Fudan University. We have so much for us to waste , and I seek for a good company. Infineon is this kind of company which I wanna.


  In the following, I wanna explain this company to you.  Infineon origin to the Siemens (the center world wide is German) semiconductor department and isolate from April.1999. it’s major apartment is MOMORY (a part import component of computer architecture).  You know, general speaking, a large oversea company gain the money not only from it’s major product , but also from the auxiliary product . For an instance, Intel is the largest company in China Marketing compared to any other semiconductor designing company, it isn’t be satisfactory with the CPU , also it wanna occupy the most of the motherboard (another important component of computer architecture) ICs, if you pay more attention to computer science, you will know VIA (a Taiwan ICs designing and product company),it’s the biggest marketing opponent.
  You know if you wanna know one company very much, that first advice for you is putting your heart to the company and get good relationship with your colleague and it’s so important for you to communicate with your colleague because you should share the most of ideas of you all thinking of.  Especially for me that I haven’t got my bachelor degree and I am absolutely newly for this designing field. I wanna more people to give me more suggestions and guides.
  Before mention of my boss who is a Singaporean.  I am so luck for me to pass the my first English interview, I have prepared a lot for my first English interview, at first I am so strained about this interview, because several interviews always Chinese not English, I wound whether I will pass this interview.  Out of my expected, my boss give me the question so easy that I can answer his question without any hesitant.  All the question are belongs to live common sense, if you are curious about the things beside you, then the question will be so easy for you to answer.
  In the first time for me to translate some files which are PDF (Acrobat Company Software—Acrobat (Reader) Version X.X), you can open the files which are all very large volume .It’s will be about 100 pages per file, but my boss ask me to translate within the period my intern duration, total files is 10. So I have to reading a lot of reference book about electronic while I am handling with the translation. It’s luck that I have a partner with me who are major in Electronic Engineer.  It means that I can gain a lot basic knowledge and amounts of helps from her.  At first, she really gives me a lot of help when I trapped in the troubles with some word that I couldn’t gain the exact meaning. She always gives me amounts of helps.  Gradually I adapted to ‘the electronic environment’. In that way, I gain the electronic knowledge more and more.  In fact, I like electronic field step by step. I wanna more technologies about designing for me to do.  I seek for more books for me to read.  You know every new technique is hard to begin and a good begin is half of the success.  And guide teacher in the company whose name is Billy and he is about forties and has engaged in SMPS (Switched Mode Power Supplied) for quite long years and power supply is so important for any electric device. And our company is distinguished oversea company , Shanghai office is center of the China Marketing and Sales, Xian is the center of the product and technologies. In Shanghai there is only a building of six floors. And every floor has different department, my working place is the third floor, there is the Marketing of AI (Automotive and Industrial) and IT department is the nearest to our department and second nearer is SMS department.  When everyday morning, we all like using English to greet our colleague, don’t look upon this only one or two sentence, but it’s so important for us to treat ours relationship so good. I am so glad to meet my colleagues, because most of the colleagues are Foreigners and they have their own country language to greet good morning to you such like Germany and Singaporean guys. When the lunch time is coming, my colleagues and I get to the top floor (the six floor) to have our Chinese style lunch and luckily most of my Foreigner colleagues like eating Chinese food like bean or rice .etc. Sometimes we wanna change to eat western style food like beef and bread and milk.  Juring these two months, I have once visited my colleague who is a Germany, his leasehold house is in the MeiYuan New Neighbourhood which is close to DongFang Road, we got a party in his house and shared a good night together.
      Make mention to what I have got from this short time work experience, my feeling is strong, to a computer science ungraduated university student, although translated job is suitable for everyone who is interested in the field and have basic English.  But if you wanna do the thing so exactly for most of the Chinese to read (the file which translate from English to Chinese)  and foreigners to read (the file which translate from Chinese to English and difficult degree will be more high). The job for me is collecting the information which refer to the SMPS of  LCD TV and CRT TV, lamp ballast .etc. These applications have used our company’s semiconductor like IGBT, CoolMOS, MOSFET, etc. We all are proud of the advanced semiconductor which Chinese company couldn’t manufactory. The first job I have most finished and other job I wanna finish it within one or two months, I wanna get more information about the product which only my company can manufactory.
   A famous company generally has a outstanding strategy for one company operation daily affairs and the method of doing everything is so important for  company stuff to gain the opportunity of so invigorative marketing of the whole world. Training is so important for company stuff to know the every minute all changing Marketing. For me it’s the first time for me to gain some training in the Five Star Hotel – Renaissance. In that training I get some friends who are customers and my company’s engineer. At the first my imaging, they are noble and hard to make friends with them, but to my surprised, they are all very kind to me and so glad to make with me, a little boy or a boy who first opening his eyes on the whole world and I am so glad to accept everyone’s advice and listen to every training if only refers to my company product. I am sure these duration four days training having given me the rough idea of our company.






  At last, I wanna say, although I meet a lot of difficult of this intern working experience, but I have tried my best to overcome all the obstacles which I have met and during the period of my flight with any obstacle, actually I have got what I wanna get. It will affect my further study life and my working method.  And I very very wanna continuous extension working in this company, because it’s the actual job which I wanna get. According to the suggestion which my university teacher gave me, the last year of university is opportunity for it’s students to touch with the society.  I assume that Infineon can give me the opportunity.  I can get the experience both work and treatment of the colleagues.  
 In the end of this report, I wanna thank everyone beside me ,whoever he is my boss, or the colleagues who I have met one or two times. In this duration of my intern, they all have given me so much help.  The first and the most important people is my boss Kenneth Lam and second people David Lee who introduce me into this company, the third is Jane Wang who gave me the interview of entering Infineon, there are countless people who I wanna thank, here I wanna say a sentence “Thank you very much indeed” from the deep heart of me.
